Join Christina as she shares with you all the wonders of Color Theory and Color Mixing.  This is a two-part class due to the extensive material Christina will be teaching you. Color Theory is more than just 3 colors with a little of this and a little of that.  She will explain 3 different theories so you can be your own judge on what works best for you. Before class begins, Christina will email you a pdf/e-book with all the content you will learn in this class along with templates for you to keep for future references.  You will also receive prepped materials in class.

BRING SOMETHING TO EAT AND DRINK ON BOTH DAYS!  I will be bringing some wine and cheese on Tuesday…NOM NOM!

Day 1 – Color Theory: 

You will be learning about the basics of color theory, the different versions and today’s modern color theory.  We will create these handy tools listed below in order to get the full benefit of this course.

You will make:

  • Value Card – one neutral gray, one with color, one with tinting and shading.
  • Sample Cards
  • 3 different Color Wheels

Day 2 – Color Mixing:

You will be exploring many ways to mix your colors.  You will learn the how and whys about warm and cool colors.

You will make:

  • Mini booklet- if time allows
  • Color Tints
  • Color Shades
  • Color mixes
  • Final Project – Mandala
