Chaos Final Thoughts
Final Thoughts https://vimeo.com/459985424 As you see below, the images look so different dont you think? And the only difference is the red. I think it turned out much better with the red added. The photos are slightly different in tone, but they are the same exact painting with just that one little addition of color. Now, head on over to the bonus videos for a little variation on this super messy and fun project! Thanks so much for joining me on this chaotic adventure of fun-ness!!! Less interesting before I added the red More interesting after adding the red FACEBOOK I’M PERFECTION PERFECTION FACEBOOK GROUP... Yes, I do have a…

Chaos Sealing
CHAOS https://vimeo.com/458402463 DOWNLOAD Although this is not the final video, I wanted to share with you one final note. As I did the research on CHAOS, I found this awesome website by this individual who created this Chaos Star generator. I wish I knew the persons name as I would give him/her more credit…but thats ok, we have the website and the super fun generator to play with online. Take a peek at the website, explore if you want to. I have images below which I created using my own pictures that you can upload into the generator and download a copy to your computer. The generator is Chaos…

Chaos Final Steps
OBEYED NO LAWS https://vimeo.com/458400360 DOWNLOAD Are you having fun yet???? As you come to the end of this project, there was one little bit of color I added later that is not shown on this video. Below is an image of two beautiful colors. I can not stress how different either of these 2 colors add extra magic to your artwork. In this project I added bits of red. I put it right on top of the sealed piece. Then I sealed it one more time. Remember, very thin layers of Tar Gel works best. You can use different brands of paint. Test it out on a piece of card…

Chaos Adding Copper
SMALL DISTURBANCES https://vimeo.com/458379010 DOWNLOAD I put together this short video on how to patina the copper tape with liver of sulfur. I did not use this technique in either project but thought it would be a great option if you want your piece to be a little on the darker side of chaos. You can find the link in the bonus section. CREATED USING “DROP” APP ON MY IPAD

Chaos Adding Details
NONLINEARITY https://vimeo.com/458376092 DOWNLOAD This video I add the word CHAOS. You can use stamps, stencils, markers or just use your own hand writing. I also add the large circle. I also think using metallic inks would look really cool on top of the large circle. There are so many options when it comes to a design like this!

Chaos Adding More
INTERCONNECTEDNESS https://vimeo.com/457584401 DOWNLOAD We are the designers of our own chaotic art! These stencils I found on Amazon. You can also make your own stencils using a hot glue gun…its so fun! You can find lots of videos on YouTube for this. You can also do a spray on color instead of rubbing on some of the white paint. Another option is if you have pan pastels, that would be so nice. I should have thought of that when I painted this section. I really like pan pastels… 🙂

Chaos Second Layer
NONLINEAR https://vimeo.com/462216095 DOWNLOAD This stage of the painting can be so much fun…If you prefer to wear gloves, go for it! This is quite messy!💞 I really love drips. Explore using different colored drips, even some metallic paints would work great. If you want a variety of colors…perhaps adding silver with the black, I would let the first color dry before adding the second color. Wiki has a great detailed exclamation about Chaos Therapy that you might be interested in reading. Watercolor Chaos Symbol by Me…

Chaos Intro
WELCOME TO CHAOS MY WAY!!! This project actually consists of 3 parts. “Chaos 1”, “Chaos 2”, and a little treat “how to patina copper tape” I will be showing you how I create each of these 2 pieces. Although I do not use patinaed copper tape, I thought it would be a great added part to this project. I am a texture/detail person and I love to share as much information when I teach my classes either online or in person. Below are the finished pieces which really do them no justice. You can see the textures, but to feel them is a whole different experience. So you can now…

Elegant Victorian Starfish – Gifty
I went to this amazing vintage store in Benicia CA with my friend and there were so many Victorian styled pieced there. It inspired me to create these beautiful starfish. When I came home from our little outing, my brain was flooded with so many ideas. So, a few months down the road after making about 15 of these, I decided to make a video on how I made them. Its only taken me forever to put the videos together in one. I hope you enjoy this little treat and would sure love to see what you come up with! Enjoy!!! Inky Cardboard
Ok, so are you ready to get super messy??? This part can be fun or frustrating…depends on how you look at it! Hehehe… so I honestly dont remember what I used to color the cardboard shown in this class. I still wanted to include it because you can see how I did this with the Copic alcohol inks. I gave it a go in this video using the alcohol inks and it was a big messy and a bit of a challenge to get the ink to spread. It is highly possible that I used Dr.Martin Bombay India Inks… I did a quick test with water and the ink on…

Home-made Encaustic Wax Medium
There are so many videos out there today on how to do this and how to do that and how to make your own encaustic wax medium. I put this together as an added bonus to go along with any of my encaustic wax classes. I have found used both hand made encaustic wax and purchased encaustic wax. They are both really nice to use. But if you are like me, you want to explore just a tad more..and why the heck not!!! We can be chemists too! Its very much the same as painting. Mix this color with that and you get this! Same for wax. You buy some…

gows – Final Touches
A haiku traditionally contains a kigo, a word or phrase that symbolizes or implies the season of the poem and which is drawn from a saijiki, an extensive but prescriptive list of such words. Kigo are often in the form of metonyms[citation needed] and can be difficult for those who lack Japanese cultural references to spot.[citation needed] The Bashō examples below include “kawazu”, “frog” implying spring, and “shigure”, a rain shower in late autumn or early winter. Kigo are not always included in non-Japanese haiku or by modern writers of Japanese “free-form” haiku. https://vimeo.com/414585118 DOWNLOAD I can be a bit of a stickler when it comes to adding details.. Sometimes I think I over do it…but ya…
