I thought this would make a fantastic post to share because I don’t always recognize what different art styles look like or understand how they originated. I’ve always loved history—it fascinates me to learn about the “hows” and “whats” that shaped the world!

Click on each style to read a brief description about it. You’ll also find a link to an artist who played a role in the evolution of that style.
