Welcome to Stratis Tempore – Layers in Time.
This is a mixed media piece I created using a simple acrylic fluid painting technique, a little bit of stencil, bling bling, and some beautiful metal work.
I show you step by step how to create each layer. Below are some images which show you the end result. As always with my classes, you are more than welcome to use art materials you already have. No need to gather up new materials unless needed.

What techniques will I learn in this course?
This is a mixed media project using fluid acrylic paints along with other acrylic paints. You will learn to hammer out some wire, do some wire stitching and work with foil.
Will I need special equipment?
Only thing you will need is a can of compressed air to move the paints around. If you choose to use a straw, you could get a little light headed.
Where can I buy my supplies?
I provide a downloadable supply list with links to where I typically purchase my own supplies. Many times, Amazon has what I need. I do my best to keep your cost down as I know art supplies can be costly.
About how long will it take me to complete this project?
This project will take at least 2 days. Mainly because the paint needs to dry in between the layers!
Is there anything else you teach in this course?
Not with this project.
