Chaos is all around us! Come join me in making some amazing chaotic art!
About This Class
This class actually comes with 2 projects. Yup, 2 fun filled projects and a little bonus!
You will learn two slightly different paintings with slightly different techniques. Although we don’t patina the copper, I thought it would be fun to show you a quick and easy way to patina the copper foil tape using liver of sulfur.
Mixed media is one of those things that is very subjective. You will will either love it, be confused by it, or want to add your own touch to it. I am all 3!
These were created during Covid. All my feelings were poured into these two pieces. 2020 to the end of 2022 has been the most challenging times in many peoples lives. I was considered an essential worker so I worked nearly the entire time our country was in lockdown. It was very eerie going to work as there were only 3 of us who worked on site and many time it was just 2 of us. Traffic was like driving through a ghost town.

No special equipment is needed, but you will need to consider using liver of sulfur and you will need gloves, a mask and goggles for protection. You will also need a small torch.
Where can I buy my supplies?
I provide a downloadable supply list with links to where I typically purchase my own supplies. Many times, Amazon has what I need. I do my best to keep your cost down as I know art supplies can be costly.
About how long will it take me to complete this project?
With any project, time varies on you and where you live. I live in California and paints dry super fast. Typical time, I would say this project can take 1 to 2 days. When I work on projects like this, I can be done in about 4 hours. But again, it depends on your skills, location, and how fast you like to work.
